The pinmany GMF6.20 CANBus Adapter is designed to integrate your vehicle's CANBus system with an aftermarket Android head unit. Locate the 20-pin CAN plug of your vehicle's wiring harness. Carefully plug it into the corresponding 20-pin socket of the CAN Bus Box. Ensure a secure connection.

4.1 Android Head Unit Configuration

After connecting the CAN Bus adapter, you need to configure your Android head unit to recognize and utilize the CANBus data. The exact steps may vary depending on your Android head unit's manufacturer and software version. The following steps provide a general guide:

Step 2: Set up CAN on Android Head Unit

1. Navigate to the 'Settings' menu on your Android head unit.
2. Look for 'Car Settings' or a similar option.
3. Enter the 'Factory' settings. You may be prompted for a password. Common passwords include: 3368, 1617, 8317, 8888. If these do not work, consult the seller of your Android radio for the correct password.
4. Within the factory settings, find the 'CAN bus setting' option.

Step 3: Select CAN Bus Box Manufacturer and Car Model

5. In the CAN bus settings, select the CAN Bus Box manufacturer. Choose 'Hiworld'.
6. Select your specific car model and year from the provided list.
7. Save the settings and reboot your Android head unit.

• Android Head Unit Not Displaying Car Name:
  - Before purchase, it is recommended to enter the CANBus setting screen on your Android radio to see if your car name can be displayed. If it cannot, there might be a compatibility issue.
• Factory Password Issues:
  - If the provided factory passwords (3368, 1617, 8317, 8888) do not work, contact the seller or manufacturer of your Android head unit for the correct password.
